Thierry is a Congolese artist, drummer and singer. His passion for music led him to attend the conservatory of modern music in Milan (CPM). On his Afro-Cuban jazz course, he specialized in drums and percussion, with forays into piano and voice. At the center of multiple international projects, both in studio and live on stage, he started his solo activity releasing his debut album ‘Asante’ during 2023 summer.His project has been selected for a showcase at KeepOn Live Fest-the Italian meeting of live clubs and festivals and live music-in September 2024.

He performs live with his band The Backyard Embassy formed by eight musicians from Italy, France, the U.S. and Bulgaria: Giona Di Benedetto (bass), Martin Craig (guitar), Stilian Penev (keyboards), Manuel Dall’Asta (percussion), Roberto Dazzan (trumpet), Yannis Mazan (sax), Rosa Mussin and Daisy De Benedetti (backing vocals).
