The North East Ska Jazz Orchestra is a big band formed in 2012, with the will to gather the many professional musicians active in North Eastern Italy’s Jamaican and Afro-American music scene. Since 2016 the band has been regularly touring in Europe. They played in Italy, France, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Slovenia, Croatia and Poland, participating in prestigious festivals such as Rototom Sunsplash, Iboga Summer Festival and Freedom Sounds Ska Festival.

The Orchestra has been selected for Jazz IT Abroad 2024, a project promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and managed by SIAE.

The North East Ska Jazz Orchestra consists of 16 musicians: three singers, a rhythm section (drums, bass, guitar and keyboards), three trumpets, two trombones, three saxes and a flute.
